Los cient\u00edficos de un equipo internacional dirigido por Mario Krenn, del Instituto Max-Planck para la Ciencia de la Luz, han desarrollado ahora un algoritmo de IA que no s\u00f3lo ayuda a los investigadores a orientarse sistem\u00e1ticamente, sino que tambi\u00e9n les gu\u00eda de forma predictiva en la direcci\u00f3n en que probablemente evolucionar\u00e1 su propio campo de investigaci\u00f3n. Este trabajo se ha publicado en la revista Nature Machine Intelligence.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:21px\"><strong>En el campo de la inteligencia artificial (IA) y el aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico (AM), el n\u00famero de publicaciones cient\u00edficas crece exponencialmente y se duplica aproximadamente cada 23 meses. Para los investigadores humanos, resulta casi imposible seguir el ritmo de los avances y mantener una visi\u00f3n de conjunto. Mario Krenn, jefe de grupo de investigaci\u00f3n del Instituto Max-Planck para la Ciencia de la Luz de Erlangen, aborda la soluci\u00f3n a este reto de una forma poco convencional. Ha desarrollado una nueva herramienta basada en gr\u00e1ficos, \u201cScience4Cast\u201d, que permite plantear preguntas sobre el futuro desarrollo de la investigaci\u00f3n en IA.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:21px\"><strong>Anteriormente, el grupo internacional de investigaci\u00f3n hab\u00eda convocado el concurso \u201cScience4Cast\u201d con el objetivo de captar y predecir la evoluci\u00f3n de los conceptos cient\u00edficos en el campo de la investigaci\u00f3n sobre IA, determinando qu\u00e9 temas ser\u00e1n objeto de investigaci\u00f3n en el futuro. Se presentaron m\u00e1s de 50 contribuciones con distintos enfoques. Krenn, junto con los equipos mejor clasificados, ha examinado ahora los distintos m\u00e9todos aplicados, que van desde los puramente estad\u00edsticos a los puramente de aprendizaje, y ha llegado a resultados sorprendentes. Seg\u00fan Mario Krenn, \u201clos m\u00e9todos m\u00e1s eficaces utilizan un conjunto cuidadosamente seleccionado de caracter\u00edsticas de red y no un enfoque de IA continua. Esto sugiere un potencial significativo que puede desbloquearse utilizando enfoques de ML puro sin conocimiento humano\u201d.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:21px\"><strong>Science4Cast es una representaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica del conocimiento que se va haciendo m\u00e1s compleja a medida que se publican m\u00e1s art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos. Cada nodo del gr\u00e1fico representa un concepto de la IA, y las conexiones entre nodos indican si dos conceptos se estudiaron juntos y cu\u00e1ndo. Por ejemplo, la pregunta \u201c\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00e1?\u201d puede describirse como una pregunta matem\u00e1tica sobre el desarrollo posterior del grafo.
