Good day,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainable Seas Trust (SST)<\/a>, in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)<\/a> have developed a new training programme focused on Sustainable Waste Management in Africa. In support of the roll out of this to African countries, SST will be conducting in-person Training of Trainers<\/em> workshops later this year. These sessions will cover foundational components of waste management, before looking at the Global Plastics Treaty \u2014 with the aim of strengthening the stance of African countries and exploring what the treaty will mean at national levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These workshops are aimed at trainers in the region who conduct workshops and other forms of training with local and national government, as well as small, medium, and micro-enterprises (SMMEs). The programme aims to have the training content reach a wider audience across the east and west coasts of Africa, with training contextualised by local knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
