Se encuentra cercana a la isobata de 50 metros en la transici\u00f3n entre aguas costeras y de plataforma media, hecho que le asigna caracter\u00edsticas oceanogr\u00e1ficas muy din\u00e1micas. Cabe destacar que desde hace 25 a\u00f1os el INIDEP realiza estudios en este sitio para comprender las variaciones naturales de aquellas influidas por el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los objetivos principales de la EPEA son analizar la variaci\u00f3n temporal de un ensamble de variables f\u00edsicas, biogeoqu\u00edmicas, de los componentes del plancton (bacterio-, fito-, zoo, e ictio-plancton) y diversos procesos como producci\u00f3n primaria y estado nutricional de larvas, as\u00ed como evaluar la acidificaci\u00f3n oce\u00e1nica y la contaminaci\u00f3n por micropl\u00e1sticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/prensa.inidep.edu.ar\/images\/Mar_Argentino_mayo_2025.png\" alt=\"Mar Argentino mayo 2025\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Las actividades de esta campa\u00f1a fueron planificadas para hacerse en horas del mediod\u00eda. Se realizaron perfiles en la columna de agua de temperatura, salinidad, fluorescencia in vivo y ox\u00edgeno disuelto con un CTD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En diferentes profundidades se recolectaron muestras de agua de mar con botellas \u201cNiskin\u201d para el an\u00e1lisis de ox\u00edgeno disuelto, nutrientes, pH y alcalinidad total, salinidad, clorofila a, diversidad de pigmentos, absorci\u00f3n del material particulado, an\u00e1lisis bacteriol\u00f3gico, abundancia y diversidad del fitoplancton, abundancia de micropl\u00e1sticos, determinaci\u00f3n de is\u00f3topos estables en muestras de plancton y para estudios de la condici\u00f3n nutricional de larvas de ancho\u00edta.
